Coaching

Coaching is not counselling or therapy. Instead, it offers a non-critical, non-judgmental, and impartial approach that empowers clients to fulfil their potential.

Through coaching, individuals gain clarity on their strengths and are given the space to determine what they truly want in life. A coach works collaboratively with the client to set clear, actionable goals, providing the support needed to take proactive steps towards achieving them. Coaching focuses on the present and the future, helping individuals move forward without dwelling on past experiences.

Coaching is about creating momentum, fostering growth, and empowering clients to reach their desired outcomes.

How Coaching is a catalyst for change

Coaching facilitates transformation, but only the change an individual chooses to make. The client agrees to work with the coach, taking action on their personal goals within an agreed timeframe. It’s a collaborative relationship that fosters growth and empowers clients to achieve their goals.

By asking insightful questions, coaching uncovers ideas and solutions that the client may not have considered before. It’s not that the answers weren’t there—it’s that they hadn’t yet entered the conscious mind. This shift allows the client to find their own solutions, enabling them to move swiftly toward their desired outcome.

Once clients realise they have the answers, they can plan their path forward. This involves goal setting, and with the coach’s support, the client defines achievable milestones toward their final goal within a set timeframe. With checkpoints along the way, the client can track progress and take ownership of their transformation. In this dynamic, the coach serves as a catalyst, empowering the client to make the changes they desire.

A coach doesn’t need to be an expert in the area the client wants to focus on. What a coach does need is the ability to understand the current situation, help the client envision the future, and facilitate the process through questioning, listening, and reflection.

Personal Coaching

When a person feels stuck—whether in their career, relationships, or personal life—coaching can provide the guidance needed to explore new directions. It helps them refocus on what they truly desire and how to achieve it.

Coaching can produce remarkable results, transforming many aspects of a person’s life. That’s why it’s essential to choose the right coach who aligns with your goals and values. A free consultation with Dawn will help determine whether she’s the right fit to support you and assist in creating a tailored coaching plan.

After the initial consultation, when a person decides to work with us, they will receive a personalised plan and contract. Once the signed contract and agreed payment are received, we will schedule the client’s sessions at mutually convenient times.

Business Coaching

With many companies and individuals offering business coaching, it can be challenging for a business—whether large or small—to decide who is best suited to help develop their most valuable asset: their people.

At Life & Soul Empowerment, we understand that a company’s success is directly linked to the growth and development of its staff. Choosing the right coach is about understanding both the needs of the business and the individual needs of the employees. Our approach is tailored to ensure that coaching meets both the personal and professional needs of the team, driving growth, engagement, and success for the business as a whole.

What’s involved?

Coaching can deliver transformative results for both individuals and businesses, which is why getting the right fit is essential. That’s why we offer an initial consultation (which may be discounted or even waived) to ensure we establish a strong, complementary working relationship.

During this consultation, we’ll assess whether coaching, self-development, or a combination of both is needed for your staff. Together with the business owner or management, we’ll identify the specific issues to address, decide which individuals will benefit, and outline the approximate timescale required to achieve the desired outcomes.

After the consultation, we will provide the business with a tailored plan and contract. Once the signed contract and agreed payment have been received, we’ll schedule the sessions at mutually convenient times for the individuals involved.

Coaching for conflict resolution

Conflict can arise in various areas of life – whether at work, within relationships, in social settings, or within teams. The key to navigating these situations is resolving the conflict effectively and moving forward, leaving the past behind without holding any grudges.

Coaching is a powerful tool for resolving conflict in a constructive and amicable way. The coach facilitates communication between all parties involved, ensuring everyone’s voice is heard and that their perspectives are understood accurately. The process is guided with care to help each person feel validated and respected, ultimately leading to a resolution that all parties can agree upon.

How does it work

When a coach is engaged to mediate between parties, their first step is to understand the perspectives of everyone involved. This may include one-to-one meetings with each person to gather their views and insights before bringing everyone together for a resolution-focused discussion.

Once the coach has a clear understanding of the situation, they will facilitate a collaborative process to reach a resolution. The coach will guide the conversation, ensuring that all parties are heard, their feelings are acknowledged, and that everyone fully understands each other’s point of view. The coach will help the group work towards a solution that may involve compromise from all parties, ultimately leading to an agreeable outcome.

While this can be done verbally, it is often beneficial to formalise the agreements in writing. This could range from a simple commitment, such as “A will do the shopping every Friday,” to more detailed, structured agreements, depending on the situation.

Initially, a consultation will be conducted with all parties involved to assess whether coaching is the right approach for resolving the conflict. If all parties agree to proceed, a detailed plan, including one-to-one sessions and group sessions, will be sent to the lead contact. Once the signed contract and agreed payment have been received, individual sessions will be scheduled at mutually convenient times.
